The terminal in Detroit Metro Airport is a mile long. In addition to moving sidewalks there is an elevated tram that stops at each end of the terminal, and here at the center.

Wednesday morning, the rain stops for at least a moment, and i take this picture out the window of Paris' apartment. At the bottom of the hill is the bay. On a clear day, according to Paris, we would see mountains across the bay.
The Alamo is loaded with character - of its own, and the characters within. Each unit consists of a small room with a Murphy bed, a tiny kitchen and a tinier bathroom. Big windows, steam heat, a great view. Paris says it's seedy ... I'll go along with that.

On a walk back from the food co-op Paris points out this beautiful tree.

Up the hill from the Alamo, the Karate Church.
