It was a good weekend, April 21 & 22, mostly the weather was good, although it did rain on us Friday night as we came out of Carnegie Hall, after a string quartet recital. Saturday was mild and sunny. I strolled up to Central Park after we'd had lunch with Sophie and Shirley. I do love this city.

A lot of people can fit into Central Park, can fit into this marvelous city, without feeling crowded. Maybe some people find it crowded, but it's a great place to watch people, and nobody seems to mind.
Saturday night we had seats at the sold out show of Wicked. Billed as "The untold story of the witches of Oz" it is a fun story, funny but also touching at times. The stage is great. The dragon above hangs above the front audience. Clockwork apparatus at the side of the stage works the scenery. I really enjoyed the show.

Curtaining the stage in this picture is an illuminated map of Oz. It was pretty cool ... I guess you'd have to be there.
