April 14 - 18, 2003

The falcons put their eggs down in April - for more information about them: http://134.156.98.1/falconcam/

It was my luck on this day to catch the sitting parent just as it hopped off the nest.
Two days later, snow had blown into the nesting box and the sitting bird huddled for warmth.
... for hours ...
... and the snow stayed all day.
It was always exciting to watch the changing of the guard.
When it was this birds turn to sit, the other parent was sleeping.
Is this bird calling the other? yawning? or simply complaining about the cold?
