You might recall that the sidewalk and alley were repaved last year, and I needed to build new retaining walls.
On April 11 I managed to dig out a space to put in some sandstone slabs as steps.
Much of the turf has been removed from the back, and the deconstruction continues this spring.
Here are a couple of views of the back yard.
The sod, once dug out of the ground, is turned over and used to construct a berm along the back fence.
Mrs. Roosevelt is happy to get outside again, after a cold winter in the house.
A nap in the warm wheelbarrow is just the thing for a fat cat.
