came over and built these retaining walls for me, but I was right there
and I really did help a lot.
Since the alley was widened,
my garden
is above the
grade, so
I needed to
add boards
along the
alley, where
previously
there was
a slope ...
When
the pavement was removed the workers put the old retaining board up onto
the garden - I'll use it later to make a terrace on the other side of the
garden ...
And
where there was rotten wood there is now a matching retaining wall on the
strawberry side of the garden.
