I'm taking a black and white digital imaging class.

Here's an arrangement of old stuff, the photo was taken in color with the digital camera (Canon G2) and converted to black and white.

... and again in color.

Here's a tiny cigar box, ancient and shabby and fragile.

For an assignment called "the Cherished Icon" I have lit it starkly, backed with velvet.
