After brunch, after a quick once-over Mom's sidewalk, I headed to the park.

It was pretty, the persistent snow made a kind of fog among the trees.
Since I'm taking a black and white digital imaging class I thought I'd play around with these pictures, converting them to black and white

... but I don't think it looks much different.

Walking around I got pretty wet, but it didn't seem cold until I got home.
I was surprised to see any open water, after weeks of sub-freezing temperatures. But perhaps the canals in the park have been "augmented" by Trenton Chanel sediment ... that stuff may well never freeze.
