Maybe
buying the
house on Elm
Street before
selling the
house on West
Road wasn't
the best plan,
but it's done
now. As of
this writing,
the house
on West Road
still isn't
sold, after
all winter
on the market
and very little
interest in
it. In April,
once the snow
was mostly
melted (wink),
I moved my
stuff to Elm
Street. Yes,
all winter
my possessions
were, for
the most part,
in one house
while I lived
in a different
house. It's
not as strange
as it sounds,
I could visit
my stuff whenever
I pleased
...
Well, before
I moved it
out of the
house, I went
around and
took pictures
of how it
looked when
I lived there. |
|
| After
Paris moved
out I used the
second floor
bedroom as my
office, but
the furniture
remained as
it had when
she lived there
... |
 |
| The
upstairs bedroom,
facing west.
I should have
hidden that
pile of ...
miscellany ...
|
|
| The
stairs to the
second floor
functioned nicely
as an auxiliary
bookshelf. |
|
| The
living room,
showing off
some of it's
cuter features
- the cove ceiling,
sweet archway
to the hall,
hardwood floors
... |
|
| I'd
already moved
a lot of the
clutter ...
believe it or
not ... |
|
Another view
of the living
room, the
glass door
being another
one of the
cute features
... in addition
to the light-loving
windows and
its indefinable
charm. |
 |
| Cozy
little dining
room, light
pouring through
the front windows. |
 |
| The
wall unit I
had built looks
like it should
have been built
there original
to the house
... |
 |
| ...
as were these
little built
in display cabinets
.... |
|
| Photographing
the kitchen
from the dining
room. |
|
|
My
cozy bedroom
at the back
of the house.
|
 |
Ok,
let's pack
it up and
get it out
of here ...
