I really haven't moved much from the house on West Road to the new house on Elm Street, and it turns out I don't really need much of that stuff. But I really did miss having the computer, if only I could carry the enormous monitor ... but no. I was whining about it at work, and Dave offered to carry it for me, which he did. Then I carried the rest of the bits, but there is no desk ... here is my computer set up on a t.v. stand with the keyboard and mouse on a tiny child size table that I could easily move.

The bed was in the room and I didn't see any reason to move it ... until I (we, obviously the cats are at home there too) slept there for a few nights with the computer humming through the night ... then it seemed like a quieter place to sleep would be welcome...
The cats don't seem to mind either way.
Over the weekend I dragged it up the stairs, with some significant help, and now it is a real office with a miniature desk.
