The
beautiful
shell light
fixture in
the living
room. |
|
 |
| Living
room, looking
west out the
bay windows.
Please note
beautiful deco
light fixture,
round-topped
front door with
beveled glass
(open), fireplace
and original
windows. The
carpet is likely
to go, as the
hardwood floors
beneath are
said to be in
good shape. |
 |
| The
dining room
and the front
doorway. The
light fixture
over the table
was once of
the same vintage
as the one in
the living room
... that original
fixture is long
gone. Below,
the curly maple
door into the
hallway and
stairway to
the second floor.
The door inside
the dining room
goes into the
kitchen - it
is a swinging
door. |

| Mrs.
D. says the
builders went
to the 1933
Chicago World's
Fair, saw this
exceptional
bathtub and
installed one
in my house
... upgraded,
i suppose. To
help explain
what you are
seeing from
essentially
directly overhead
- the left end
is the shallow
end, the right
end, with the
drain, is the
deep end. I'm
serious. Yes,
there is a shower. |

Two bedrooms
and the full
bathroom upstairs,
living room,
dining room,
kitchen, study
and powder
room downstairs.
This is the
bedroom on
the west side
of the house.
Please note
cool built
in drawers.
Each bedroom
has two closets. |
 |
| The
bedroom at the
east side of
the house -
another built
in dresser,
the closet is
cedar lined.
The little doors
are attic access.
This window
looks north. |
 |
| The
other
end of the east
bedroom - yet
another closet,
yet another
marvelous deco
light fixture. |
